Since launching the Support the WoW4 campaign, we have been overwhelmed by the support we have received from friends, colleagues, trade unionists, activists, artists and members of the wider community.
What began as four former employees speaking out about our experiences at Writing on the Wall has grown into something much bigger. Hundreds of people have signed our petition, shared our story, attended pickets and fundraising events, donated to our campaign, and helped ensure that our voices continue to be heard.
In recent weeks we have held peaceful pickets at Writing on the Wall events during WoWFEST and organised a fundraising event at The Casa, where supporters came together to hear our story, watch our campaign film, enjoy live music and help raise vital funds for our ongoing campaign.
While we are grateful for the solidarity we have received, our core aim remains unchanged.
We are simply asking for a fair, transparent and genuinely independent investigation into the concerns that were raised by staff. These concerns included allegations of bullying, harassment, discrimination, governance failures and the handling of whistleblowing complaints.
To date, those concerns have not been independently investigated.
We believe that workers should be able to raise concerns about workplace culture without fear of losing their jobs. We believe that charities should be held to the same standards of accountability that they expect from others. Most importantly, we believe that the people affected deserve answers.
This website has been created to bring together information about our campaign, share updates, publish key documents and provide a central place for supporters to stay informed.
There is still a long road ahead, but we remain determined to seek accountability and justice.
